Girl I feel your pain, I'm not even over my broncitis yet and here come the allergies! I took Claritin OTC last fall. I don't believe the OTC stuff is time release, just the ones you need a prescription for. Believe it or not, the Tylenol allergy and sinus stuff seems to work very well too and we can definitely take Tylenol. Good luck! Kelle

Dawn, I had TERRIBLE allergies when I moved to Atlanta! I was taking Allegra D, prescription eye drops, and an inhaler, and they still were not handling it. I thought I would have to move out of Georgia, until a friend suggested a combination of grape seed extract and pine bark extract. It's in something called OPC (which stands for something so long I won't even try to spell it). Strong antioxidants. Natural antihistamines. One bottle is $30.00 and depending upon how much you need to take, may last you more than 1 month. (They say 3 months, but it actually has 90 doses. I take 3/day to control my allergies.) You mix it in water and drink it, so it's absorbed easily. You can find out about it at this website: http://www.alwaysbuying.com/?OVRAW=OPC&OVKEY=opc&OVMTC=standard You can also get more info about it at this website, although they are a little more expensive: http://www.opc.cc/ You can also buy it in capsule form at any health food store, and most large grocery stores, if you prefer to take capsules. I'd suggest buying 100 mg caps and taking 2 or 3 of each (grape seed extract and pine bark extract). It's more mg of the stuff than the liquid, but the liquid is absorbed more so you don't need as much. It REALLY works! After 3 days of taking this stuff I was off ALL my other meds, and feeling better than I was while taking all the prescription stuff. I started taking the liquid, moved to the capsules just to save some money, but since my surgery I'm back on the liquid 'cuz it's easier to take. Email me if you have any questions. Good luck! Cheryl
