Keeping my fingers and toes crossed!

Just called BCBS for my 'early in the week' check. I try to call early in the week--and then again around Thurs to check my status. Today they told me (again) that they usually respond in 15 business days---which ends tomorrow. The lady I spoke with told me she wasn't sure why it was taking so long (Uh-Oh...what does that mean?)....but she would send an email to the review desk reminding them my 15 days was up and we were still awaiting a decision. She said to give them until Wed. afternoon--and they would surely have an answer for me. Oh boy--keeping my fingers and toes crossed. Hopeful, Michelle

Now I KNOW being a kindergarten teacher, you KNOW that if you cross your eyes they will FREEZE that way!

Is that what happened? When I stare at students, they usually scream, "Stop looking at me that way!" Shot, if I had only known...no wonder I'm so scary!!! Seriously, I have to ask them not to poke me on the behind or belly in public, because it doesn't look very respectful. Just think about it...my behind is frequently in their line of sight. Michelle, when I had BCBS I did my call and they claimed my info was faxed to the wrong department, and I asked "well, can't you just transfer it to the RIGHT department?" and was told it had to be resubmitted. (I think that was a scam they had going, personally! LOL!) However, after the 2nd submission, I had my approval in 3 days.. So, I hope you don't have the same problem...stay on them girl! Michelle, My fingers, toes, eyes, and hopefully soon my legs will be crossed for you. No matter what, dont give up. I will keep praying for you, and hopefully they will give you some sort of answer by Wednesday. If not, ask to speak to a supervisor to see what is taking so long since you know they are supposed to give you an answer in 15 days. Big hugs to you girl....keep us posted. D'Lynn 229/220

Michelle I am sure you will get good news this week! The only reason you haven't heard is because you are so anxious. I am sure the next time I talk to you (next week) you will have a date and probably before mine. I have a super busy day tomorrow. I am taking the 'kids' back to the airport tomorrow afternoon. We have 2 apts Wed morning and then will leave to drive to the port. If you here something wed please call me on my cell phone. I will have it with me wed afternoon and Thurs am. Hang in there, this is one of the hardest parts of the whole process. And once you get your approval, then you'll go crazy waiting for a surgery date! It really does try ones patience! Good luck! Kelle
