I just got my shipment of Unjury today and found a can of Lite Peaches in the cupboard.... so I introduced Mr. Unjury to Mrs. Peaches and they made a delicious child that I am now, er, drinking... OK that was supposed to sound less creepy....

That's funny! I just got some protein powder stuff from bariatriceating.com but am waiting till after surgery to try them out. My dietitian recommended this shake for a treat: 1 cup (8oz.) sugar-free, fat-free yogurt 1 package no sugar added Carnation Instant Breakfast Powder 3/4 cup 100% fruit juice 1 banana 3-4 ice cubes Blenderize all together in a blender until smooth (at least 2 min.) Pour into "dixie-Cups" Freeze Eat with spoon or allow to melt and drink. They said this is really high in protein and that I should try to drink or eat 4 of these a day. I dont know if anyone else got this recipe when they left the hospital but I just thought I would share. Good Luck! ~Kathy

Derrick, you got me cracking up here. I'm still pre-op but sure hope I can keep my sense of humor after surgery the way you have! Thanks for the giggle. Barb

Derrick, Did you put milk in the mix to make that delicious child? I also got my Unjury today and did not think about that union. Thanks, Hope H

I'm a goof, what can I say? I didn't add milk, cuz it seems to be runny enough. Plus, I put the Unjury in it so I KNOW I got the extra protein.

Is UNJURY devine or whut??? The chocolate is to die for as well. I'm glad for the receipe though...sounds too good! Especially for folks that are lactose intolerant. No milk would make this really yummy for them I expect. And btw, it actually did sound creepy....Ha!
