Statesboro Doctor Suggestions?????
Hi Mandy! I just had lap surgery on 3/15 and I am down 19lbs without any complications. My surgeon is Dr. John Angstadt here in Savannah at Memorial Bariatrics. I had BCBS and they are covering 100% for the doc and 90% for the hospital fees. The program and support group are wonderful. I had a good stay at the hospital. Hope this helps. Email me if you want. Christen
Mandy,
I live in Winston-Salem NC. Your post got my attention because I an from Statesboro, and so is my husband. I am waiting on insurance approval.
My in-laws and dad taught at GSU. Did you go there? Were you an education major?
good luck with the insurance. I am going to have to pay at least 20% (maybe up to 40%) out of pocket. My BCBS isnt as good as some BCBS policies.
I have been working a 2nd job for 3 months and am exhausted!! Will look forward to slowing down as soon as I get another 800 in the savings acount.
Good luck on you quest

Yes, I did attend GSU as an Early Childhood Education major. I graduated in Dec. of 2001. I live in Metter. Since I have to change insurance policies I need to find a doctor who will agree with WLS and write a referral letter.
CHRISTEN: Where did you find statistical info on Dr. Angstadt. I have looked on the Memorial Health Bariatrics website, but I did not find alot info concerning Dr. Angstadt's history with WLS. Thanks, Mandy
