How was everyone's Easter?

Good morning my wonderful wls family!!! How did everyone's day go yesterday? I thought of ya'll lots yesterday and said little prayers that each of you were not going to give into "old habits". I was prepared for those cravings. But to my utter shock, I never got one. I think I prepared for them so much, I was mentally making myself not want to cheat. I have read posts so many times of people giving in to those cravings. Well, I for one did not go through major surgery and all that pain just to set myself back like that. I am happy to report that I stuck to my regime yesterday and felt so good for doing it. There comes a time in your life when you have to truly decide to take control of the things you can control. The other things you just have to leave in the Lord's hands. Now if I could just apply this logic to exercising, everything would be ok. I had a wonderful easter - till my house threatened to flood again with the torrential down pours we got last night. It didn't flood (AMEN!) but I got a good workout in trying to push water off my yard and away from my door! My dinner turned out perfectly. I made WAY too much food - but that's okay it's helps having left overs when I have a lifestyle that is constantly on the run!!! I had a very healthy meal of Ham, Steamed vegetables and WATER WATER WATER! (and a bite of my neices candy!!!) I honestly don't beat myself up when I have a bite of something because a bite literally curbs my appetite for it! I glad your Easter was happy an healthy! Dee Dee

Hey Tonya, You make a lot of sense my sister. I am so glad you had a good holiday, so did I, and I'm just feeling so grateful that God has given me this wonderful gift of wls and a second chance which I thought I'd never get. I pray for our continued success and health. Joyce
