Waitin' in Watkinsville

Howdy ya'll -- Well, my papers were sent into my ins. co. last Thursday (BCBS HMO State Merit), so today is my 1 week mark. I am a nervous wreck -- you know --- all the "what if's" -- what if I am not approved, what if something was filled out wrong, what if I have to wait too long and then the insurance no longer covers WLS, what if , what if, what if..... This whole thing is REALLY a VERY long process!!! I guess we are all experts in being patient by the time we hear whether or not we are approved. Two more weeks...... Hi Jean, I am wondering if I saw you at the support group meeting on Wednesday evening and didn't realize it. I was the old white haired woman sitting close to the front. Dr. Mejias is my surgeon as well, so take my word for it, you have one of the BEST! I place my total faith in him as a professional. I know exactly what you are presently going through and the range of emotions you are feeling, as I did the same thing back in October...playing the "waiting" game!
