Looking for SURGEON!

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good surgeon whose office handles things quickly and efficiently? I have Aetna and am currently in my 3rd month of the supervised diet. Donna D.

I personally do not want any one but Dr. Proctor doing my surgery. He is awesome! His staff is amazing and the nurses at the hospitol are unbelievable. Just to give you an idea, i am pre op and have only met him twice in person. I was at Lanier Park last week, taking my daugher for some tests, and he came down the hall, not even knowing who I am, He was waving at my 4 and 2 year olds and making them laugh. It made me feel like he is very down to earth and a real person. Most doctors would not have paid them a bit of attention. Look at his cradintuals you will be impressed, every one I have talked to says he is one of the best inthe country. He has a very low complication/death rate. He has lost 4 patients in over 20 years of doing the surgery. I will not go anywhere else.

Dr. Richard's and Dr. Proctor are the best as far as I am concerned. They have a great staff and the people at t he hospital are unbelieveable. Yes I agree with the rest. My Dr. is Dr. Proctor and I love him, he is great. I did my research on Drs. and found that he was the best one for me. You have to really search and find out who you are comfortable with. Good luck W Williams

My Dr is Dr Scarborough in smyrna. I havent had my surgery yet. but so far I think hes the greatest. What I suggest is call mor than one. Most have you go to their seminars. go to a few and meet the Drs in person.then ask to talk to a few of their patients. Thats how i chose mine. good luck and GOD BLESS Patty

Dr. Proctor is GREAT !!! He did my surgery 1 year ago and I have not had one complaint about him , his staff or the hospital , they're all wonderful. Judy

May I suggest that you contact Dr. John Daly at 404-252-0433. If any of my family members needed gastric by-pass surgery I would refer them to Dr. Daly or Dr. Christopher Hart. Dr. Daly was not my surgeon, but I have seen him take care of several of my friends and he is truly an amazing man/surgeon. He is who you want in your corner should a crisis happen.
