Hi All: I will "officially" be one month tomorrow, but I had my appt today. I am happy to say I am down 28lbs!!!! Everything went fine, I have had no complications since surgery and havent had any dumping. I still struggle to get all my protein and water in everyday! If I didnt use protein shakes and supplements, it would never happen. I am about to return to Curves to kick my exercise into high gear, so hopefully that will help. I look forward to seeing you all at the April dinner in Kennesaw. Kelly S

Thanks Michelle! As for protein shakes, I drink the EAS Chocolate Fudge or Vanilla which I get at BJ's but I heard that you can get them at GNC also. I have also tried the Designer Whey Strawberry/Bananna Smoothies that I bought at BJs also, they are a little tart but tolerable. Also at GNC you can get a protein pudding in chocolate and vanilla flavors which doesnt taste bad, it is put out by Sylvester Stallone. I went to a support meeting last night and everyone there recommended Isopure Clear, which I havent tried, but they all said its wonderful and has 40-50 gms protein. But lately they have had trouble finding it, so I was going to post a message on the board today and try to find out where to buy it. I think for one of our GA board get togethers we should all bring our favorite protein shake, snack etc and have a tasting party! Good Luck with the protein! Kelly S

I LIKE the idea of the protein tasting party!!!! LOL We'll all have to put out disclaimers though - like mine is made with milk and frozen yogurt and I know some people can't tolerate milk products! (I guess I could make samples without the milk products too....)

Hello Michelle: The protien shakes I have used before and plan to use after is Revival Soy which I get it at revivalsoy.com. It is produced by a doctor and my doctor and some other doctors highly approve of them. There are in the Obesityhelp magazine in this issue. They taste great, come in plenty of flavors, have bars, soy chips, soy nuts, soy pasta, soy coffee and not too expensive. They also have a high count in protein. Try them out, you won't regret it. Good luck Mary
