Breakfast? Help!
Hello. I can not seem to come up with a good breakfast. I am 2 months post-op and now have clearance from my doctor to eat pretty much anything. For the past few weeks I have been having a banana but I am getting burned out. I would love to hear what others are having for breakfast. Much thanks! ~Bonnie

I drink a protein shake. I buy the soymilk flavored as coffee and chocolate and vanilla. I mix 4 oz of coffee with choc or vanilla. Love it. Sometimes I will add a scoop of peanut butter and some banana. When I cook for the kids I will eat a scrambled egg with them and some watery grits. ( Can't eat much though). Because of the protein drinks and using vanilla, I add fresh strawberries too. Haven't gotten bored yet. 6 months out.

My most favorite breakfast is my one egg omellet...Use the smallest egg pan that you can find (nonstick) spray with pam, add one piece of lean ham and one piece of cheese....sometimes I get a little wild and add some bits of mushrooms to the egg, or some onion. It is a very good breakfast, and best of all it has lots of protein!
