Thank you!

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. I survived the Panni and hernia repair. This was much more painful than the GBS. Although Im not complaining. Dr Appel did a wonderful job and he saved my belly button and used a previous scar to place it. I still have alot of swelling but its not getting worse. I had 2 drains but they have been removed and 1/2 of the staples. Im getting around ok but since I can't straighten up all the way yet it has made my back very sore. Also the swelling does get worse when Im up so I am bored sitting here all day. Steph has been wonderful to loan me her laptop. Spring break is almost over for her so I have to give it back after this weekend. And she is moving closer to Dalton where she is going to school. Boo Hoo Im going to miss her. Jen

Hey, My Angel!!! It's great to hear from you!!! I bet those drains were horrid! How cool that you still have your belly button? I haven't really seen mine in several years. I hope you are well enough to attend the get together April 9th. I would LOVE to see you!!! I'm sending much love and prayers your way!!! Sounds like Steph is doing great!!! GIve her hugs! Hi Becky, Yep Im planning on being there April 9th. I haven't decided if I am going to spend the night or not yet. And I will see if Steph can come too. Hey if anyone wants to have a gathering up here at the resort. I can get cabins cheap. As long as its not a holiday weekend. We could hang out in the hot tub and have a cook out. Let me know if anyone is interested in coming up here to Blue Ridge. Jen
