Surgery Coming up and thanks!

Thanks to all who have supported me through emails and in person. My big day is finally almost here. I'm pulling my hair out. I went and ordered new clothing for my job cause it takes about two months to get here, I'm in a 64 pants now and got a 58. The man who took the order at my job said "I'd like to see you squeeze your fat behind in these". Putting it nicely. I guess I'll just have to show him when they come and I've got to order even more smaller. hehehe Keep in contact with Amy , I'm sure she will keep you up to date. Check out update on profile. Kenneth, if you don't mind me asking I read in your Profile that your wife helped you with a personal letter that you included with your appeal, would you mind me asking what all she included? I was denied 9/04 & we appealed it & got denied again, they wanted a 6 month weight loss history which at the time I was working on, so I finished it 2 weeks ago & everything got submitted again, & I am wondering how long I need to wait before I start calling them. I am so frustrated with Cigna, I am so afraid if I don't loose weight soon I am gonna have more health problems than I have now. I am 5'1 & weigh 260. I am on 4 blood pressure pill a day & acid reflux med. everyday also. Also I have been having stomach pains & had to have an ultra sound & upper G.I, & the Dr. said my colon is wedged under my spleen due to being overweight & causing the pain. I don't know how many more health problems the Insurance Co. wants me to have before I get approved. I'm sorry to go on & on, any information you can send me will be appreciated. Tammy, Basically in the letter we explained like in mine the issues that his/my weigh was causing us. It was just like a mini story with our medical history and included things that our parents dealt with. I would start calling Cigna everyday. We called BCBS everyday. It sounds like it was more or less the 6 month diet that got the denial. Cigna is bad about wanting that as a requirement. I wish you the best. Amy
