Fingers crossed.......... jumped through my last hoop today.. I hope!

Hopefully I jumped through the last hoop today.. I went in for and endoscopy and a colonoscopy. Now just to get all that faxed to Mildred then she can submit my paperwork.....Perhaps I can have a date in a few weeks...... Keeping my fingers crossed and praying that this is in God's will for me.....Oh yeah, for those that told me that this would not be bad..... WRONG.......i retched and gagged and threw up even while I was sedated...... The dr. said my gag reflex was something else.....LOL.......just like me to be the one to have all these problems..... Patrice, Congratulations on having everything completed! I had my EGD on Monday and an hoping that I will also be ready to submit everything to the insurance company. I also have the same Dr. as you. Good luck and maybe we will have a surgery date soon!

Patrice, Well sorry things went so bad for you today, but you knew you had a really over active gag reflex. I was hoping you were sedated enough that you didnt know what was going on. Why the colonoscopy though???? Well just keep your fingers crossed that it is all you have to do and that the reports will get submitted. Did they tell you when the reports ready for submission? Patrice Sorry to hear about the blood and the colonoscopy. I went back for my follow up dietitian appointment today. She is going to ok me!! Let us hear from your test results. I am hopeing they can submit my stuff tomorrow. I am praying for a quick approval (don't we ALL) My friend, the happy camper, thinks her stuff will be sent off this week too! Maybe we can all have surgery the same week. Anne

Anne, I just sent you an email telling you all the details..... The good the bad and the ugly...Had you lost enough weight to satisfy the nutristionist? I had done pretty good with mine, But I have no idea if she is going to ok mine or not? I sent her a fax from my dr.'s office with my weight on it and attached a note asking her to call me. Haven't heard anything from her so I don't know what to do.. I know she doesn't work but 2 days a week at Dr. Harts office. Guess I could contact Mildred and see if she got the fax and if she signed off on mine.. I rather talk to Rachel but at this point I will take whatever I can get... Patrice
