Plateau??

Hi everyone. I had my surgery almost a month ago (Feb. 7th) and so far I have lost 25 lbs. however I have been stuck at this 25 pound loss for just over a week now, could I have reached a plateau mark already?? Let me know what you think please....... Thanks, Kelly

Kelly, are you still on your thyroid medication? What about your insulin? Could any changes in your medication be part of the problem? Just wondering. Without my thyroid medication I didn't loose weight no matter how much i starved and worked out. Hope the surgery will cure that problem, but I don't know, at this point. Barb in S. Ga

Hi Kelly, I had my surgery on Feb 2. I also hit a plateau early out. I take insulin everyday, so I think that was the culprit for me. Also, your body is going through so many different things, I figure that it goes into self-defense mode. I am still not losing as fast as some, but as long as it comes off, I am happy. HUGGGSSS!!!
