Patrice, Where are you at? Last I heard from you, you were going to the gastrointestinal MD for scheduling an EGD and the psych consult. What happened and where are you at? D'Lynn

Hey D'Lynn, I have been around just not doing alot of posting. My psych. consult went wonderful. In fact Dr. Harts office probably already has that in. Dr. Williams assured me he would have that faxed to them before the end of the week..... As for the EGD, that is a different story. I am scheduled (pending precert from the ins.company) to have an endoscopy and a colonoscopy on Tuesday, March 8th. I am a little bummed out with this. Guess it is kinda evident. This has not been a good week for me. While I was checking out at the psychologist office my phone rang.... My mom informing me that she is admitting my dad into the hospital. I kinda was in a panic. Being as he was just getting over a heart attack with a 99% blockage, I was just imagining the worst. With his COPD and emphysema his breathing is already horrible. NOw to top it off he has bronichal pnuemonia to go with it. SO he has been on oxygen all week long . We finally got him home from the hospital with promises of him not being able to leave the house till his next drs appt. Which brings me to my dilemma.. He and my mom were going with me when I had this procedure done. Now I have to find someone else to go with me... I know this will all work out for the best... Trying to not let Joe take off any days yet. I will need him later if all goes well... Sorry to sound so depressing but such has been my life this week. With worrying about my dad and all these test I have not been good company. Patrice

Patrice, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad and your bad luck. If I wasnt going to be in Savannah all next week I would go with you. I leave Sunday afternoon for meetings all week. Don't let it bum you out, you still have plenty of time before the summer to get everything completed. The EGD report shouldnt be that big of a deal and should be done and to the office by the end of the week. Do you have everything else in to Dr Harts office including your clearance letter from Michelle? If you do, this should be the last hoop to jump until insurance submission. And as soon as State Merit denies, you automatically send to Joe's insurance company. I understand about you dad and the COPD thing, that is what mom has and she just got out of the hospital on Thursday from Pneumonia, so it is an ongoing thing. She is terminal though, not too long left to live. If there is any thing I can do, let me know. Your friend, D'Lynn
