desperation makes us do crazy things

I'm new to this site so hello to everyone. Just an observation of myself I'd like to share. I've become so desperate to have WLS that I asked my best friend to check his insurance to see if it would pay for WLS since mine does not. If it did I was going to ask him to marry me and he said he would. My boyfriend was not thrilled with my lack of rational thinking and said I was psycho. It did not cover the surgery but I am still looking for an "insurance sugar daddy". Am I psycho?

Girl, your wacky sense of humor will come in handy as you start on this frustrating journey. Some people have been known to job-shop til they find one with insurance that covers the surgery.. Janie, I agree. I would have done some desparate measure as well had my insurance not approved me. Luckily though I got in on the window because after July, BCBS is not covering it at my employer. I would have probably job hopped and found one with an insurace policy to cover it. Another idea would be to take out an individual policy that does cover it. You might can check into that. D'Lynn
