Hi!!! I am presently going through all the pre-op tests (yesterday got the news that my ecocardiogram was normal). I meet with the pulmonologist next Tuesday and hopefully will be able to schedule my Roux en y procedure after that. I am really nervous about the procedure but know that I have made the right decision. I would really like some people to talk to regarding all of this. I am also a Type 2 diabetic and have some concerns regarding this too. I would like to meet some people that I can be there for and that they can be there for me. Sincerely, Suzanne

Hi Suzanne, Welcome to our world I'm about the same place you are with my pre-op testing, had my echo just this morning. Having someone to talk to through this is the most valuable thing you can do. At least it sure has been for me. If there's anything I can do for you, answer questions or refer you to someone or just being there to listen please just ask. I certainly want to give back what I've gotten so much of from this board, support, understanding, prayers and love. Who is your doctor? Barb
