Hi Lynn I have looked everywhere and just can't seem to find a good 12 step program for lurking... just kidding! I don't want to people to think I am some weirdo, though. I guess i waited so long because I wanted to make sure it was really going to happen. It is kind of like when you dream a good dream and feel yourself waking up. You try to hold onto the dream as long as you can. I guess I felt that if I joined too soon, then I would wake up and this would all be just some dream. Hope to hear more from you soon.

Christen, welcome to the Ga board this is a awesome board for many reasons mainly suport. I had my Surgery on Jan 11th , I am 7 weeks out and as of last week I have lost 42lbs I am adverageing 7-6 lbs a week . I will be praying for a sucessful surgery and speedy recovery . I am a mother of 4 and wife my life has changed tremendously already.

Hi Tami I read your profile and I am praying that you approval comes soon. I think I may have seen you and your daughter at a support meeting, but didn't get a chance to really say hello. I will be at the meeting on the 7th if you get a chance to come. Hope to talk to you soon.

Welcome, Christen. I just recently started posting. I'm still working on getting approval. My husband has been approved and will have surgery on 3/23. This is a great group! They have already been so supportive, and I can't wait to meet them.

Hi Stephanie Congrats to your hubby on his date. Is he driving you nuts with the nerves yet? My hubby says I am driving him loony, but truth be known, he is more nervous than me. Whatever would he do without his cook and maid! Just kidding. Actually, now that I think of it, he would be lost. The man almost set the house on fire once boiling water to make ramen noodles!!! Good luck on getting your date!
