FOR WOMEN ONLY!!!
I know some guy will look but at any rate did you guys period get kinda strange after you lost a lot of weight? I've lost 90 and I've been on mine for almost 2 weeks!!! Your talking about a person who was very over weight but never missed a beat, my period would last 3 days tops with 2 days of God awful cramps, got on birth control to control cramps not birth
I know go figure, and after that I really did not have one. It was there but nothing to even worry about and no cramps. So, this is freaking me out because I don't like it and I hate the Gyno, I have a later appt. and that's when I would perfer to go. Just wondering and I guess I need to make and earlier appt. Thanks

Hi Cricket. I am going thru the same thing however I am only 6 weeks post op. I am on the pill for my PCOS and I started my period in the middle of the pill pack and I have been on it for 21 days now. I called my OB when I started and she said not to worry to just come in when I already have my appt set up which is next Monday and she will check it out. She didn't seem to concerned that I might be on my cycle for a month. Just call your doctors office and see if they think you can wait or not. I know it's aggrivating but hang in there!

I don't think I would have had a single period since age 16 if it wasn't for birth control pills. Of course, pre surgery I was up to 486 pounds. Now, I am back on the pill and having pretty regular periods. Before surgery, even with the pill, I would go for a week or so. It was never very heavy, or bad cramps, just loooonnnggggg. Now it's about 3 days....yay! I'm hoping as I loose weight my PCOS will go away and one of these days I can reproduce....now I just need a man! Anybody got a good one to pass along?

I had almost the opposite problem. I had rare periods before surgery - maybe twice a year. I started my period my last day in the hospital and have been having the regularly (like clock work) since that day!!!!
I hope you check up with the doctor what's happening so you can get it fixed!!!
Much
to you!
