So depressed...

I feel like I am fighting a losing battle and so depressed. I am so tired of pulling myself up just for something related to the possible WLS to knock me back down. I so much need the support meeting tommorow night but it has been canceled again and the new meetings with the new counselor start on Tue march 1st which seems like forever away. It is going to be difficult for me to attend on Tuesday also since my job requires me to be in the court room on Tuesdays and if it is a long court session then I will be late or may not be able to attend at all. Thursdays were perfect for me. I still so much want the WLS but it seems like it will never be possible. Sigh......... Tami

Tami, DOn't give up! If WLS is what you want then you just jump these hurdles and let us support you along with the local support group when they start the new sessions. We are here for you to help pick you up when you fall and support you along the way. HUgs, Tonya

When I feel like giving up on life, this verse comforts me. I hope it helps you. "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you." Isaiah 43:2 The Word also says that "weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." Ps. 30:5b I am praying that your joy comes SOON, Dear Tami! It's a promise!!! Love, Becky

HI! DON'T GIVE IN, IF YOU DO YOU WILL BE LETTING DEPRESSION, FRUSTRATION, ANGER, AND MISERY WIN! YOU DESERVE BETTER! HANG IN THERE, YOU'RE WORTH IT, YOU'LL SEE! JUST TAKE THINGS ONE-DAY AT A TIME! TRY NOT TO WORRY ABOUT THE THINGS YOU CAN'T CONTROL, (IT WILL ALWAYS WORK OUT ONE WAY OR ANOTHER). YEARS AGO I ALWAYS TOLD EVERYONE THAT WAS I WAS ALWAYS A DAY LATE AND A DOLLAR SHORT. I NEVER COULD GET AHEAD FINANCIAL, ETC., AND I DID NOT THINK THINGS WOULD GET BETTER. ONE DAY I REALIZED THAT I WAS ALWAYS CLAIMING MY SITUATION, SO I QUIT SAYING IT. I AM BETTER OFF TODAY THAN I HAVE EVER BEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. YOU WILL GET THROUGH EVERYTHING LIFE THROWS AT YOU! I PROMISE YOU THAT THIS TO SHALL PASS! THEN WHEN YOU GET TO MY AGE (50) YOU'LL SIT BACK LIKE I DO AND HAVE AN ATTITUDE AND YOU'LL JUST TELL EVERYONE THAT "YOU'VE BEEN THERE SEEN AND DONE IT AND YOUR POINT IS!" IN MY PRAYERS FOR BETTER THINGS TO COME!
