My first get together tonight...whoopee!

Hi, Folks. My wonderful hubby (Dick) and I will be there tonight. The grandkids always laugh when I call their Grandpa Dickiepoo. I'm finally getting around to setting up a profile. Better 7 months, 3 days post-op than never, right? I will try to find a before picture to bring with me. I never let too many of those be taken. Tanya...can't wait to see that ring and meet James! Anyhoo...I'm down to 227.5 from 347 in 7 months. I'm going to try to squeeze into a new size 16 outfit I just bought. But if you see my eyes bulging, you will know I shoulda waited another 5 lbs before wearing it. If I feel fat later today, I'll put on one of my size 20 pants that are too big. At least I'll be comfortable! Looking forward to meeting everyone. Cindy Green

Hi Cindy, I look forward to meeting you tonight! You and I have gone on a similiar journey. I started at 340 and am at 220. I'm not in a 16 yet though... You had your surgery 3 days after me! You will have a great time, and I look forward to meeting Grandpa Dickipoo! Tami

Tami, I feel like I know you and a lot of other folks from my lurking about on the board. Looks like the bigger size 20 pants may win out for tonight for comfort's sake That will just leave me the 16s to wear to a later get together. Looks like Dickiepoo may not join us tonight. He's had a stroke and is having some neurological back pain...this has not been one of his better days, so the 1 1/2 hr drive might not be in his best interest. Will be heading out in a couple of hours.
