I am so Excited!

I have read about you all for a year now and I am so excited to have a date! I want to get to the "other side" and my coworkers can't figure out why I am looking forward to surgery. I wi**** was next week rather than next month, but all things in His time.

Hey Barbara, Welcome and thanks for joining us. Congratulations on getting your surgery date!!!!!! My surgery is coming up in 4 days, .....booooooyy I'm telling you I have experienced quite a few emotions on this journey to wls, but today I guess I would have to call it nervous resolve........ummmmm...does that make since? Congrats to you, Barbara!! I had surgery Nov 29,04 I have lost 53lbs, and I feel great! I do not have to take insulin, high blood pressure pills.....YEAH!! I attend Curves 3 times a week (joined 1/19/05) I have lost 18.25 inches and 15 lbs since I joined. I have moments when the food "sticks" but that is my own fault...I ate it to fast or I did not chew enough, but it is a learning process. enjoy all of your favorite things now because it will be a while before you get to eat them, my weakness is Chinese food, I looooove it, I cant eat it very well now, I think it is because it has msg, and most of it is fried. Congratulations Barbara! I am so happy that you have a date! When is your surgery? I have my 6 week check up tomorrow and I am finally feeling like one of the living again. I really think I rushed my recovery and that is why I have had such a hard time so listen to your body and take your time. Best of luck to you! ~Bonnie
