WLS Moment (long)
Okay, I can honestly say that I now feel like my self esteem is now getting where it should be. I went out last night on a date with a new gentleman who told me that my "confidence was a big turn on for him". I've never thought of myself as really self confident - but I could almost feel it last night being out with him. (Oh yeah - i guess I should mention he was a HOTTIE!!! 
)
Lately in my endeavours I've felt like I wasn't hiding because I was the biggest person around. I've felt like the stares were because I'm feeling better about myself and it's showing. I went out last weekend with my sister and *I* got my drinks paid for ALL NIGHT!!! (she didn't and has always been the skinny one!!! 
) It felt good to be getting attention in a positive manner.
I can't tell you how much this surgery has changed my life. I was speaking to a collegue who's husband was looking into this surgery and I told her some of the things I've gone through and gave her the link to the website here so they could further their research. I think that has helped me to realize that this isn't for everyone - but it was the right decision for me!
I am greatful FIRST and FOREMOST To my Lord and savior for providing me the path to have this surgery and giving me strength to work it to my best advantage. The new blessings that have been bestowed upon me are numerous. My wonderful family, my wonderful OH family (who are just an extension of my direct family), My friends, my restored health, my restored faith in life, and mostly I'm blessed because I've discovered WHO I'm truly meant to be!!!!
I hope everyone here gets the opportunity to enjoy all life has to offer!!! I'm going to ENJOY my new life to the best of my ability!!! I am officially inviting everyone in to enjoy it with me!!!!
ALWAYS REMEMBER AND NEVER FORGET - people may forget your actions but they will NEVER forget the way you make them feel! You all make me feel WONDERFUL!!! THANK YOU for being there for me!!!!
