Need Info re: Post WLS support group in Central Georgia

Anyone know of any post WLS support groups in Macon/Warner Robins areas? I am having surgery 3/8/05 and want to have a support group lined up before surgery! Thanks for any info or advice!! Meg

Meg, There is a support group in WR called the minimees that meets on Tuesdays...but I can't remember where or when exactly..maybe James or one of the locals can help out with that. D'Lynn

Hiya Meg, Congratulations on your upcoming surgery, I can't wait to be there. I'm just going for my first docs visit on thurday. There is a support group that meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month in Warner Robins. It is at the Flint Electric Building on Highway 96. I am planning on going to this one, (will be my first). These people have been such a wonderful help to me and a great source of information. Maybe we will meet tuesday. If I can do anything for you let me know. Barb
