Hey everyone! I have been searching for a treadmill, bike or elliptical cross trainer that is reasonably priced ($1,000 or less) and has a user weight capacity of 350 lbs. Does anyone know of any brands of equipment for larger people? I am still pre-op but have managed to lose almost 40lbs so far. If I had some exercise equipment at home, I could use it on the days that I don't or can't get to the gym. Any suggestions? Blessings! Cheryl G.

Hi Cheryl, I bought a treadmill from HSN (home shopping network) I paid $699 but it is a very good one, and being heavy that is what we need not excuses of not getting on it. The other good thing I liked it if you don't have all the money they will split the payment in 4 - 6 payments. I have been trying to get on mine everyday. Most days I am successful. you can on on their website and look for a treadmill, you can also try Sears. www.hsn.com

I found some great equipment at the Play it again Sports store, its gently used equipment. You can get it for some great prices.. They have stores all over the place. Just look them up in the phone book. Jen

Thanks Everyone for y'alls responses! I will do more research at HSN and Play It Again Sports! These are two places I haven't looked into! I did just purchase a Total Trainer (just like the Total Body Gym only 1/2 the price). It's user weight capacity is 400lbs.! Boy what a workout! I am going to be sore tomorrow! But it will be a good kind of sore! PEACE! Cheryl G.
