BOY, THAT WAS SCARY!!
My surgery is scheduled for Tues. Jan.11th and it has been a long journey(got my approval letter Dec.22nd) A journey that almost got cut off today. My dr.s office called and said that they called to get the certification # this morning, and my insurance had disapproved my surgery. It seems that my carrier had a new pre-cert co. that approves hosp. visits, surgeries, etc. and the old one didn't not forward my info., so therefore I had been disapproved. I was just sick 
. My drs. office said that I should call my human resources office and get them involved and cause a big stink,( I did) so after many phones calls, tears, and bitten off fingernails we finally got it all straightened out. Though my carrier was not happy they did call my drs. office and gave them my approval and my pre-cert. Thank you Lord
