MOVING TO GEORGIA HELP !!!!!!!!!!!

HI ALL, I need some help please. We have our house up for sale in orlando, fl. and it sold in 4 days wow. We are moving to georgia. Can someone send me an apartment guide book for the atlanta area, my husband is getting transferred to atlanta airport. we are going to rent an apartment first then look around for a home. Susie, Try this website. My daughter and son-in-law used them when they moved back here from California 4yrs ago. They said it was better than any apartment guide. They told them what they were looking for and this company checked out who had vacancies that fit their needs, then gave them a list. Sure saved a lot time. It didn't cost you anything the apartment complexes payed the fees. www.promove.com/ put the http:// in front. Where at the airport will your husband be working?

Hartsfield is a huge place. My hubby works for a company that maintaines the TIM's (ticket issueing machines) and the exit booths in some of the parking areas. Until construction if finished it is better to use MARTA or one of the off site park'n'fly lots if you are flying. He has to have his truck to go around to the different lots so he has to fight the traffic all over the airport. Signage around the airport leaves a lot to be desired, but there is always security to help you find your way out of any bad situation. Something you might want to consider is at first staying in one of the extended stay lodges while you check out the different communites. You could use a mover that will hold you household goods until you are ready for them.

Hey Susie I have been in Atlanta for 4.5yrs now. But I just moved out to Jonesboro about 8 minutes from airport on a good day. Far enough though to be away from it LOL...
