Important Question

I have been seeing Dr. Duncan but he has now said he will not do my surgery. Dr. D only does Lap surgeries and I need to have mine done open. What I need to know is, what surgeons do it open and which ones are in Blue Cross Blue Sheilds of ga in-network. Any information you can provide would be great!! Thanks

I SECOND the nomination of Dr. Proctor's group, Obesity Solutions. I personally used Dr. Richard, but was VERY happy with their group. It's an extra hour drive time, but very very very worth it. -Tami

Dr. Celio Burrowes does open. He did mine. I like him.

Brandy, I have recommended for a few of the paitents on here to visit Dr Celio Burrowes. I used him and he did an excellent job for me. He's VERY involved with his paitents and his aftercare program is top notch!!! His open isn't "Traditional" open - it is about 3" (Unless it absolutely must be larger). That for all your replies!! I had my husbands HR person call BCBS to find out when I need to be approved by. They told her that I had until October when my insurance renews. That takes some stress off of me and so now, I can research.
