Hi Guys! I'm new to the board, but I have been visiting the site for about 3 weeks now. I like the family type atmosphere. It is comforting. I turned in most of my paper work to the Dr.'s office yesterday, but I am still lacking my phsy. eval letter. I already went to my appt. on 11/11/04. Their office said that it would be two weeks before I can get a report. The wait is killing me. I am one of those BCBS Blue Choice patients that has to have the surgery before the end of the year. Keep me in your in prayers. Will update soon.

Hi Tonya, You are definately in my prayers. That is the only thing wrong with this surgery is the hurry up and wait. But the end results are well worth the wait. If you need anything, just let me know and I will do what I can to help. You can e-mail me and I will send you my number or you can send me your number. Welcome to the group. It is the greatest palce to be. Hugs, Debra =^..^=

Hi Debra! Thank you for your words of encouragement. How long did you have to wait for your phsy eval? I enjoy reading all of your comments to other people. Sounds as though you have alot of love to share. Until later, Tonya T.

I know what you mean. This is the last message I got from my doctor: We have initiated the notification process with United Healthcare. When the review nurse looks at your request, they will call us to request the information needed. I'll keep you posted. I have no idea what that means!!! I guess I will be waiting with you!! Carol

Hi Carol! Hope you dont have to wait long. Sometimes I think the people in the Dr.'s office don't care about you having the surgery as much as the insurance company does not want to pay. It might be my personal fustration, but I tell you, I get discouraged every time I talk to my Dr.'s Office. Until later, Tonya T

Natalie, I read your profile and I like your link to the BAF. Could you tell me how I can get there without going through your profile. I really hope it will only take my approval 3 days because as of Jan. 2005 BCBS Blue Choice will no longer pay for the surgery.

Tiffany, Keep your head up. I had a good PCP Dr. Wilson at Atlanta Primary Care at Atlanta Medical Center. Call and see if they except tricare. Still waiting, Tonya T. P.S. She may not be listed but Dr. Cecil Bennett Jr. may be that's how I got to see her. Their phone number is 404-524-8950.

Hi, Tonya, I read your profile, and it looks like you have been pro-active with everything in order. I loved that you told the receptionist that you would pick up the psych eval and deliver it personally. You go, Girl!!! Rest assured that you have done your part!!! May the Lord give you His perfect peace as you wait. For me, the waiting was the worst part of the process...including the surgery. Hugs, Becky
