Hey Kathy, good luck with everything with the surgery! But if I were you I wouldnt get too much before surgery. Your tastes will change afterwards! Clear liquids is anything you can see thru! I was eating low fat/fat free soups my first week so its up to you! Hope this helps! Kerri

Hi Angelette!! I agree...you've got the best of it... Also, have you TASTED the ISOPURE? I had the fruit and the blueberry and I didn't taste them until after surgery....ICK POO!! (that's just my opinion...I know it's not shared by all..) Anyway, I guess all I'm saying is make sure the ISOPURE is something you like... How are you doing otherwise? Howz the nerves? You ok? -Tami

Hey Kathy, I don't think there is a set list for the clear liquids. Mostly anything you can see through. My doc said , water, broth, sugar free gelatin, sugar free ppopsicles. Full liquids: skim milk, fat free creamy soups. At teh end of one week I was allowed to have a soft boiled egg if my pouch could handle it. Then 2% cottage cheese was added. Check the labels on the foods because some low carb foods are high in sodium and fat. The fat free are good to stick with. I have a list of the foods that my doc says you can have for the protein if you want it. But I have noticed all doctors are different. I was told that beef and pork and leefy vegetable are a no-no until after 6 months because they are hard to digest. But other doctors let them be eaten even before that. I wouldn't stock up on too much since your taste will change after surgery. Things you loved before, you won't want after. And remember that some foods will make you sick even if you blend them up. They are still hard to digest either way. I hope this has helped a little. If you need anything, just let me know. Hugs, Debra =^..^=
