Fobi Pouch

I was just told if you use Dr Burrowes you have to get the fobi pouch. I have a consult date with him in Oct but if that's true I need to find another Dr cause my insurance want cover this procedure.

There are a lot of people who believe that the Fobi is the definate way to go...do the research and decide for yourself what is right for you. Dr. Burrouwes was too restrictive and rigid for me...but everyone is different..there has to be chemistry.

Dr. Burrowes does a regular RNY also. He specializes in the Fobi Pouch(having trained under Dr. Fobi) that the Fobi Pouch is the best choice for long term success. It is an individual decision. But keep in mind that he will strongly recommend the Fobi. When I was in the waiting room a few months ago there were more sitting in there that had the regular RNY than those of us that had a Fobi. I would suggest you attend his support groups while you are waiting for your appt.
