Are you eating and drinking too fast? If so slow down and remember to CHEW, CHEW. You might be getting to much air intake.

1) Did you used to have heartburn & belching PRE-surgery?
2) How long have you been experiencing these conditions?
3) What factors were added or removed from your life around the same time as the onset of symptoms?
4) Have you spoken with your bariatric surgeon's RN/ PA about this?
5) Did you re-introduce foods/beverages that had been part of your regular intake PRE-op around the same time as the onset?

Name of herb? Important that you share that info with your doctor's PA/RN/ doc.
Are you replacing fluids & electrolytes? Potassium level OK?
Possibility of your stoma scarring over, would require endoscopy to confirm & gently stretch back to original. That would explain inability to hold down any food.
I had that done about 3 mos. out. Painless, quick & very, very necessary. I'd been chewing tiny bites of food FOREVER & not getting anywhere near enough calories.
