Information OVERLOAD!
Being a former investigative reporter, I've always been focused on letting THE FACTS lead me to the story; the decision, the course of action. 
But we live in a world where we risk being buried alive in an avalanche of data triggered by our own love of inventing newer technologies for "mining" information.
If you want to wait until ALLLLLLL the "relevant" information is in before making a choice, you could find yourself in a state of suspended animation.
