Support Groups in Snellville

Hi! I live in the Loganville area, not far from Snellville. I am hoping to have gastric bypass soon also. My surgeon's office just submitted my paperwork to my ins. co. yesterday. So now I am just waiting for approval. Who is your surgeon? I am going to be using Dr. Lin at Emory.  Emory has a support group for their patients, but it would be great to find something a little closer to home too. The more support the better!

My surgeon is Dr. Hart. My paperwork was submitted on 2-16 so I am just waiting also. I went to the support group at John's Creek Hospital on Wednesday and it was good but yes I would like to find something closer to home. Good luck on your journey, keep in touch.

I am hopefully having gastric bypass soon. Dr Hart is my doctor also.  I am looking for a support group in Snellville. I haven't found one yet. Hi! My name is Loreal and I'm in the early stages of the process! I, too, reside in Snellville... off Rockdale Cir. I've figured that I want RNY and I'll be using Dr. Steinberg. So far he seems to be an AWESOME doctor with a wonderful staff! I've met a few of his clients and they are so positive and VERY uplifting. He recommended a Dr. Ritz for my psychological evaluation and I just found out he moderates the support group! Isn't that wonderful! I'm so excited and feel that I have seleted a great team.

Hi Everyone, I live in Snellville and had my surgery 1/21/09 would love to have a group near home on Saturdays maybe we can start the Snellville slimmers and meet somewhere if everyone would agree. Maybe once a month or so. My doctor is Dr. John Daly
