YAY!  You have done a fabulous job!!  It is great to see another long term post op that has done an awesome job.  (I had my RNY in 2004.)  Anyway, congrats!  You are an inspiration to so many people!!

Great article! Congratulations on getting your life back! I am 6 weeks out from RNY and I have lost 35 pounds! I feel so much better! Reading your article and looking at you photos is a great inspiration for me! Articles like these really help us "newbies"!

Hello Lookingup!  I know you will not probably remember me but I am also a patient of Dr. Dennsi Smith.  From your photo I remember seeing you in his office when I was there for a check up.  I just wanted to say hello and to see how things were going.

Hi Carla..............Wish I could say I remember you, but you probably don't look like your rose avatar!  I am doing well.  I had a hard time with nausea and vomiting but within the past month I am doing much better.  Do you attend Dr. Smith's support group?  Maybe we will meet there some time.  Hope you are doing well.  Jama

Gee, if you have a wedding photo of the 3 of us, that would be great for me to see! I remember approximately how big I was then. Definitely 3X. There's a photo of me officiating at our son's wedding last June on my FACEBOOK page. I never bothered buying a new ministerial robe, so my bod's kinda lost in it...

One of the reason's half of my weight-loss clients have already had bariatric surgery is they've started gaining back what they thought the surgery would permanently keep off!

Loved your story. I read it online before I saw your post. Thanks for sharing. I always read the AJC success stories on how people have lost weight, so I was glad to read about a fellow WLS patient. Best wishes.
