Hello,
I just want you to know that every surgern is different. But mine told me that the week before I was to be on a liquid diet and the night before I was to be on clear liquids. So before my surgery I tried different protein drinks and flavored waters. I fowund a lot that I really liked and then after my surgery my taste buds changed and so of the things that I like now longer tasted good to me. But Please check with your surgeron and see what they say. But if I can help you in anyway I will try and help.

In the hospital take bedroom slippers and chapstick, and wear loose clothing.  Nothing else is needed.

My highest weight was 251, and presently I am at 162, as I have had some regain.  I have had four rounds of reconstructive surgery...breast lift and implants, lower body lift, and upper + lower eyes, lower facelift + necklift, and necklift revision and brow lift.  I may get my inner thighs done, but not sure yet.

CONGRATULATIONS!  I am so happy for you!  As you know, the fabulous Dr. Richard was my surgeon and I highly recommend him and his staff.  He had me on a very soft and practically liquid diet for 2 weeks before the surgery.  It sounds impossible but by the time you have a date, you are so psyched you could fight the devil and win.  If you will email me at [email protected], I will send you the PDF of the entire thing.  You can get it from their office too but I can send it as soon as  I know where.

I recommend taking a roomy robe so when you are doing your laps you don't accidently show your booty.  House shoes or slipper socks are needed.  I recommend some reading material and toothbrush, lotion, etc.  I wore their nightgowns because sometimes they do get stained.  I wore something to the hospital the morning of surgery that was loose to wear home also.  That way I didn't end up hauling around so much.  Put a pillow in the car you'll be going home in so you have something to hold snug against youu in the event of bumps.  I never had pain but I was really sore and things like speedbumps, railroad tracks and potholes felt very sore.

I am so happy for you!  It is exciting and scary too!  Please let me know if you'd like me to drive up and check in on you.  I'm a great cheerleader and would love to support you anyway I can.
