I NEED YOU ALL HELP! MY SISTER IS OVER 600 POUNDS!!!

Like i had mentioned in my original post she attempted surgery earlier. Actually before I did myself...but the doctors would not clear hear for surgery back then because they didn't think her heart would hold up on the table and her respiratory issues.

She has white coat syndrome bad, but I think at this point she would do the surgery if someone would operate. But I think her pre-existing conditions will hold her back from being able to have the surgery done.

She went into the hospital earlier this year, that was a big ordeal because she was having serious repiratory issues. But I was saddened because while she was in there they did not even discuss her weight issue. She was in ICU and everything...but their focus at the time was her breathing and once that was corrected they sent her home. No mention of her dietary setup. She does have home healthcare coming to the house now but she needs help mental, physically, etc...so get through all of her longtime weight issues.

as i sit hear in tears ........ I am so sorry , this brings back so many memories of my friend who passed three years ago , this why everyone if we are blessed with the opportunity to have this surgery we should take full advantage and work it to our advantage and do not take it for granted, yes there are risks and complications but our friends and families who have lost loved ones to obesity or complications of obesity no first hand that there are risks being fat too so do we let our fear of the unknown take our whole lives from us or do we look up and say God this is when I need to see one set of foot prints I need you to carry me because I know your ill will never take me where your grace can not protect me., Faith is the soul daring to go beyond what the eyes can see.............. again I am so sorry my prayers are with you and your family !!

did you ever get any help for your sister? I think of her sometimes. You never posted on the board after your question. I'd like to know how she is doing?

I wasn't able to save my sister she passed away on December 30th. She suffered a fall in her home and we were unable to get her back up from her fall. She ultimately passed out and eventually died at the hospital. Thanks for continuing to think about her...if you are dealing with some weight issues please use her as a catalyst to help yourself beat obesity!

Ebony I am sorry to hear about her loss, but now that she is in heaven she is healed from all her suffering. You did everything you could to help her. I know you must have been a great sister and friend to her.

I say do whatever you have to do go wherever you have to go , I dont want to scare you but my friend who was 24 years old and about 5'5 -5-6 and 500lbs tried to get the surgery and they denied her and she tried again needless to say she died and she died on Monday and on Friday her sister got a letter in the mail of approval it broke lal our hearts we were so angry she left behind my 3 yr old God daughter all because they didnt approve her the first time had the apporved her she would be alive she died of lung failure she was on oxygen. So I say if even if you have to go to the news there was a teenage boy well he was 17 and he was pretty big but he couldnt get approved for the surgery and couldnt afford to pay and his mom went to the news and they found a doctor an hour or so from them that did it for free!! God can work miracles, like I said call every doctor you can find someone will do it , if not go to th emedia someone will come forward ..........I will be praying for your sister !!!
