I had surgery on 6-24 and it was the best thing I have done for myself in a long time. It is a life changing event...and well worth it. Have lost 85 pounds. something I could have never done on my own. Have lost 100's of pounds in my lifetime and gained them back. Know now that I can loose it and keep it off.

Can't wait until I'm a year or two out. Dr. M asked me what my personal goal is. I really don't know. I can't imagine what I'll look like after losing another hundred pounds. I think about the things I can do now that I couldn't do 6 months ago and there's no telling what I'll be doing once this initial weight loss phase is over. Only time will tell ...
