What is up with this board

Fellow Georgians

What's up with this board? Why does it take days for answers to some threads... and not very interesting Subjects started....

So I'm starting this discussion and see if we can follow along... other states have a lot more activity....

Just asking.... if not I'll go back to the R/R

Yep, this board is pretty dead.  I hardly ever pop in but spend my time on the VSG forum.  I sure would like to spend more time with my fellow Georgians, though!    --Dorothy

I agree but Im no better . I only check it once a week or so.  I will try and get on more often!!  

I guess being pre op and all, I'm a bit obsessed. It good to meet folks who are in our area and especially those who have the same docs.

Ginger and Elli have been wonderful resources and a great comfort... I am more stressed about the damn ins then the surgery as a whole.... I figure once I get approved then I can stress about the actual procedure

Rhino... I know you've tried. It is weird that so many are on these boards but don't come to the Ga board...

I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one "obsessed" with this whole thing.  When I get on the computer, first I check my regular email, then I come straight here and check things out!  I suspect after surgery, it will be less of an obsession.  Now, we are still trying to find out all the good, bad, and ugly.

And you've also been a great comfort in going thru this process

It would be nice to see more posts. I know people are on here because posts get a ton of views, but nobody ever seems to comment.

I am very grateful for this forum. The post op's don't know how inspirational you all are to me. I can't wait to get my approval, eventhough I know it will be at least 6-9 months from now due to my insurance requirements for 6 mos supervised diet and all the other hoops I'll have to jump through.

Does anyone know of any other wls forums? I checked yahoo and didn't see any that were particularly appealing.
