Hi everyone! Semi-newbie with a surgery date!
Hi everyone :)
I just wanted to say hello to everyone and kind of introduce myself. I've posted a time or two before, but that was long before I had a surgery date. Now that I have a date finally (June 30th, same as busyliz!) I feel like shouting it from the rooftops!
Right now I'm just plodding my way through my low-carb routine prior to surgery. I'm kind of an oddball in that I live in Georgia, but will be having my surgery in South Carolina with Dr. *****ett. I'm very confident I chose a great surgeon and the 3 hour drive to get there to see him has been well worth it so far.
Also, if anyone out there can give me the info on the support group for Hinesville/Fort Stewart, I'd be very grateful. I know it meets @ Winn AMC, but just not sure of the exact dates. Thanks so much, I'd sure appreciate it. :)

I know what you mean about shouting it from the rooftops! I was given my surgery date (July 7th) yesterday & I think if anybody could have seen me they would have thought I was a little crazy! I was so excited I felt as though my insides we going to explode. I was crying and cheering at the same time!! This surgery has been a long time coming & I cannot wait to start the next (new) phase in my life. Good luck with everything - can't wait to hear about your success.
