New to OH

I have finally gotten approved for medicaid so that I could begin the process. I had a complete physical today and my PCP is willing to support me in my decision. I really like him and was hoping I wouldn't be forced to go somewhere else. I am going to the seminar for Dr. Duncan on December 15th. I look forward to beginning this journey!

Can't wait to welcome you to the loser's bench!  What surgery are you having?  Please post your doctor information on the post above yours that says "we need your help" opn the main forum message board.  OH is needing to know who takes medicaid/medicare. 

I am wanting to have a RNY. I think it is the best option for me. I am still trying to figure out how everything works.

To a WONDERFUL journey!! wow you have a good surgeon for this, he is one of THE best in Atlanta. I had Dr. Hobson and he is Duncan's sidekick ......he is great also.....I cannot wait for you to join us here on the loosers side of life. It is the best time I have had in all my life. Peachtree is a good place to go for the surgery but they office personnel is a little slow in getting stuff faxed over...but they will help you with anything, they are great at dealing with people. Thank You Renee!! I am actually flexible about having my surgery done by any surgeon at Peachtree because they are all reputable. Because I am Medicaid, I am more interested in getting through the hoops too approval. I am hoping for a smooth process from the experienced staff. Thank you for your encouragement....Liz
