You may want to post this on the board for your surgery type to get a quicker response.  I do not know what type of surgery you had, but if you put it in the blender then didn't you puree it? I can only speak for my surgery which as long as it was pureed it would be find at 2 days out.

Hey! Don't worry! I don't think that you did any damage. We have the same group of doctors, only I see Dr. Henderson. Just try not to do that anymore. You really need to try to stick with the plan that they gave you. I know it is hard! I have sat here and cried as my family ate things that I can no longer eat. Did you have RNY or lap band? I am 3 weeks out from RNY and it has gotten much easier. Keep the faith! You will be fine!

HI and welcome to the board. We have the same doctor..I absolutely love him! I am sure if you have not had any problems by now that you are fine. But try to stick to what they want you to eat. Call Lauren if you find you cant stand it anymore..she will change it up some for you. When do you go back to the doctor? Please sign up at the lessismore site and hope to see you at the support meeting Monday night..oh we have dinner at Applebees at 5:15 if you would like to join us. Talk to you soon hopefully Phyllis

Hello,  My daughter had lap-band and I had the RNY.  It is very important with both surgeries that you follow "Your" surgeons rules.  There are reason they tell us what to eat and when to eat it.  With lap-band you can have slippage as well as many other things that could go wrong.  (Did you call your surgeons office and tell them what you did?)   With lap-band you have to be very very compliant or you will not lose you weight.  If you use the tool you can be very successful.  But sometimes we eat not because we are hungry but because that little person in our head is saying "You want food, you are hungry"  I know for the rest of my life I will have to fight with that.....and head hunger.   Support groups are critical for long-term success and sometimes we also have to talk to a professional who can help us deal with the head hunger.   It is important whether we have lap-band or RNY to create good eating and exercise habits  "A Health Lifestyle" right from the start and stick with it, so that once we do lose our weight we keep it off.  I am almost 7 years out from  my gastric Bypass......it gets harder the further out you get.......you have work work hard........This is a journey we will travel for a lifetime....not a destination.   I wish you great success in your journey.  Take care,  Ginger
