Any Coca Cola employees or spouses with BCBS PPO have this surgery?

My husband works for Coca Cola and we have BCBS Gold plan, which is the PPO Plan. I was wondering if anyone could give me a ballpark out of pocket cost. The insurance company is telling me that I pay 10 % up to 1000 out of pocket. But that tells me nothing, except that I have a 1000 dollar range. I have chosen an in network surgeon and all the people involved in my surgery are in network.  Can any of you tell me what your out of pocket cost was??? My paperwork has been faxed to the insurance company but I have not heard back yet and they (the surgery center) tell me that they cant (wont) tell me a cost until approval comes back.  Please help, I need to start saving and have no idea how much to set aside.
