Any one from Dalton or nearby??

Hi my name is Bill R, I will be 7 weeks post op Weds. I had nad RNY in Chattanooga with Dr Jack Rutledge(great doc)and I have lost 43 lbs since. I am so glad I had this done. I was taking 8 pills and 80 units of insulin a day. I am now taking none. Just checking to see if any one else in here was from around my area. Good luck and God Bless all!! Bill

Hello Bill, I'm glad that you found OH as well. We are here for all the support that you will need along your way. Welcome to the LOSER BENCH! I'm 9 months out and I'm very thinkful that I had my RNY back in July 2006. I have lost 165 pounds and I have too saved my life. Jeannie

I'm kind of close to ya Bill. Blairsville, GA here. Had Dr. Richard in Gainesville do my surgery in October. I'm right at 93 lbs right now. 100 down from when I left the hospital. Never on insulin or BP pills, but probably very close. You'll do great and there's an awesome support system out there for us all! Congrats to you and enjoy life now!
