May's Get TOGETHER!

I really need a SHOW of HANDS, I'm working on a OUTING FOR EVERYONE THAT IS INTERESTED. I have done the lunch's and not many show . So now I'm thinking that since the weather is getting nicer. What about camping, hiking and then a picnic in the park. There are some really nice places here that are not that far away and I know that everyone could bring their families alone as well. We could even have games and anything else that we can think of doing. I'm open to any suggestions! Hug's Jeannie

I don't know if we would be able to actually camp, but getting together for a picnic is a great idea. We were just at Indian Springs not too long ago...it is very nice. We could rent a pavilion. I'll be out of town the weekend of 5/12, but any other weekend, I'll really, really, really try to be there....I promise! The Alabama group just had a "reunion"...it seemed to go very well. maybe we can call it that to get some of the older members back out to visit with us. The GA board just kind of stopped meeting like it did a couple of years ago when I first joined. Folks get busy. It sounds like your meeting last night went very well.

Jeannie Hun, You know I am interested. I can not commit to a Positive because I am at the year end for my girl scouts and we will be having a picnic sometime in May also, but I will do my best not to miss it. Indian Springs or local (cheaper) whichever you choose. I would probably go local because there aren't a lot coming to our events yet...but that is just a thought.
