I HAD SURGERY ON 4-8-05 AND HAVE DONE GREAT. I'VE LOST 154 LBS AND USUALLY FEEL TERRIFIC BUT I HAVE CAUGHT A BAD CHEST COLD LAST SUNDAY AND NEED TO TAKE SOMETHING FOR IT. THIS IS THE VERY FIRST TIME I HAVE NEEDED ANY MEDICINE SINCE SURGERY AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO TAKE. ANY SUGGESTIONS? THANKS

Robin, Always remember if it is Tylenol based, it is permissable to take.....I would start off with Tylenol Cold during the day, and Tylenol PM at night....the Tylenol PM puts me out like a light...LOL Try that combination for a couple of days, and see how you feel...if not better, call your PCP and be sure to tell him that you cant have any NSAIDS or aspirin products. Hope you get to feeling better. Norma

Check with your Dr., but robitussin, tylenol and sudafed were the combination for me.
