tricare/help

hello am tring to get some help as far as tricare prime or tricare remote . my husband is in the navy and is in iraq and while he is there i am looking into having a tummy tuck / breast reduction . has anyone had anything done with this ins. i was told they will not cover the tuck . i have lost about 160 lbs and dont want to go down anymore i am about 13 mts out . help help help

I have tricare prime retired now but had regular tricare in 2004 when I had my breast reduction done and in 2005 when I had my tummy tuck. They will approve them both if you have documention on rashes and it did not work with creame to fix.. I had to appeal my tummy tuck twice but won it on appeal. I went to Dr Legere in Brunswick Georgia .. If you have any questions let me know. I know alot of people who had thier tummy tuck with tricare
