New to GA need support

HI everyone. My name is Shelley, and I have just moved here to GA from Wichita, KS. We live in Warner Robins, GA. Are there any support groups around? Is there a surgeon in WR? I am only 4 months post-op and I still need support. Any help is appreciated.

If anyone is needing on line support I'm here for you. I going to be 6 months on January 27,2007. I'm really happy about my weight lose so far. I'm still eating very little and drinking a lot of protein. So far I have lost over 150 pounds and only have about 65 to 70 to go. Hug's Jeannie

Hi Shelley , My family and I just moved here to Warner Robins as well...We came in from Hurlburt Field FL.....I am looking for a good support group as well. Since we just moved here, I am not sure where the support group meets at, and not sure about surgeons in the area either. i am 3yr out, but still need that support. Hi Shelley! We moved here 5 years ago from Indiana. I had RNY Sept. 26 (have lost 60 lbs.) I'm losing SLOWLY, but I know I'm NOT doing some things correctly! I did get started at Curves in Perry two weeks ago. I attended a support group, "Mini Mees", two times before I had surgery. It seemed like a great group and I was sooo excited to continue going, then I went with my husband on a couple of business trips, the holiday came along and now I have gone back twice and no one has been there!! ???? They were meeting on the first and third Tuesday of the month at Flint Engergies on 96. I'm going to try and find someone to get some answers. I REALLY need to be with a group!!!! Dr. Champion in ATL did my surgery. I'd love to talk with ya.......just get back with me! I live off 96, close to HOCO HS. B <
