after the operation how long before the plastic surgery ? and will medicaid help with the cost? thanks for help in advance

Everyone is different. It depends on how much weight you have to lose and how long it takes you to lose it. I had mine when I was 15 months out. Most plastic surgeons and WLS sergeons want you to be at a stable weight for at least 6 months before having plastics. I don't know about Medicaid. Take care.

Tami, I was told medicaid only takes care of it if you have documented rashes/infections.
