support groups in atlanta area

Hi Everyone, I had my lap-band surgery in Mexico on Oct.31, 2006. I have not had my first fill yet ,but I would like to find a support group in the Atlanta Area. Does anybody know of one and when and where does it meet? thanks, Terri

What area of town do yu live? We have one on the southside of the Atlanta Airport. But you can try the Atlanta Medical Center, Dr Titus Duncan's office. Hug's Dorothy ( Jeannie )

Hi...there is a support group specific to Bandsters. It's home is on Yahoo, it's called Atlanta Bandsters. You can search on Yahoo groups for the exact website, or you can email me and I will send you a link. They meet in the Buckhead library the third Saturday of each month at 11-12:45. The next one is January 13th. Hope to see you there!

Dr Hart's monthly support group meeting is the first Wednesday of the month (01/03/07) and is open to anyone in any stage of the journey. It is held at the Atlanta Bariatric Conference Center (4500 N. Shallowford Road, across from Emory Dunwoody Hospital ) from 6-7:30pm. Hope to see you there! Marie
