Anyone work for Delta Airlines????

I am feeling down right now. I had my hopes high and they are getting dashed. I was convinced that I would be working for Delta by the end of the year, but it's looking bleak. I've heard that they cover WLS and I want to work for an airline again. (I used to work at Airtran.) I am trying so hard not to have to pay for this surgery out of pocket. I don't know that I can. So my point is... Does anyone work for Delta? I am convinced that an inside person could get me on board faster. I've got the experience I just need an edge. Can anyone help?

I don't work for Delta, but my boyfriend does and he recieved a notice telling him that they would no longer be covering bariatric surgery next year. It said that they didn't want to cover it because basically they felt there were too many complications from it. Just wanted to let you know before you went and got the job. Susan

Wow really??? Thanks for the heads up. My neighbor works for Delta and I was not about to ask her and put my business in the street, lol. At least now I can move forward without waiting waiting waiting from them. Thank You.

My husband work for Delta. As of January of 2007 They will not be covering WLS again.
